Q: Dear sir/madam, I need help, please! My brother who is a resident was arrested for drug possession and usage in 2022 in Abu Dhabi, then the court decision was only payment of 10,000 AED. If he is employed in a well-known company such as Microsoft, Reuters, Sheraton and etc, does the employer know the case? And If he wants to change employer later, is it possible for this decision to appear to anyone on his criminal record? Q: Hi, My visa for the UAE is rejected twice despite the fact that my travel history is great (traveled to France, the UK, Australia, Singapore, etc.) including two short visits to the UAE. Returning to the home country while the residency is not cancelled
Q: Dear sir/madam, I worked in a company for 6 months in the UAE but they didn`t pay my salary so I registered a labour case. After a while, I cancelled it and now I want to go back to my home country with no intention of coming back. My residency is not cancelled yet and it has validity till 2024. Q: How long can a travel ban last in the UAE without opening a case? The case was an inappropriate language with students. The school conducted an investigation and I was exonerated. THE KHDA (school inspector body) conducted a 4-hour written report on the case stating "no crime". The students also wrote a handwritten statement. This contradicts my accuser`s (the father`s) statement. The police were not interested in this evidence. Now, the police want a witness student to come to the police station to give a statement. Gratuity calculation after 5 years of service
Q: Good day, I worked for a semi-government organization for a total of 5 years. I left the company in May this year. Upon leaving, I received 120k (approximately) as gratuity. In each of the 5 years, my salary was stated as AED65k in the 1-year contracts I had with the company. There was no breakdown of my salary, allowances, etc. In my last contract, 2021 to 2022, a new clause appeared stating that only 40 % of the AED65k would be a gratuity.
