Q: Good day. It`s been only 8 months since I am working in a company and my employer has sent me the termination letter without any warning letter. My contract is limited and expires on 11/2021. The reason behind the termination was a quarantine leave. My sister and I live in the same villa and my sister was Covid Positive and my niece was negative. She requested me to take care of her daughter who is 1 year old. I requested my company for the leave but they did not agree and they sent me the termination letter in 3 days and forcing me to sign the document and also my 1 month 7 days salary is pending. Kindly advise me what steps can I take being an employee and what compensation is to be claimed?

I was under the impression that the entire time my contract was unlimited but now I am being told that it was changed to limited. But in my agreement, it is stated that: The Employee is required to give 60 days prior written notice to the Employer to terminate this Contract.
