Help in the enforcement of maintenance payments to wife and child
My husband refuses to provide maintenance for wife and child.
Is there any organisation in Dubai/UAE that helps to enforce maintenance payments to spouse and child?

Dear,
A wife may file a case for maintenance against her husband before the competent Sharia Court. The court will order accordingly after evaluating the amount required towards monthly maintenance for both, the mother and a child.
If a husband has pronounced divorce, then a wife will claim maintenance for a child only.

Hello,
Let me clarify that your question is not very detailed enough and providing a full answer to it is quite difficult. I will try my best to cover the most possible scenarios.
The only organization that can help enforcing payments to spouse and child is the UAE Courts supported by the relevant executive authorities of the state "For example Police Departments"
1. Assuming that you are Dubai Resident, Muslim, Married mother of a Child and your husband stopped supporting you and the Child.
In this case, you should file a complaint to the Reconciliation Committee, Family Guidance Section, that is part of the Dubai Courts. The Committee will contact your husband for reconciliation, advising him to support you and your child. If the counselling does not work any good between both of you, the Committee will issue a No Objection Letter addressed to Dubai Courts to start a Legal Claim against your husband to claim financial support for you and your child, and proper family house if he is not providing.
2. Assuming that you are Dubai Resident, Muslim, Married mother of a child and your husband stopped supporting you and the Child AFTER Divorce.
In this case, you should take the same above mentioned route through the Reconciliation Committee, If the counselling does not work, the subject will go to Dubai Courts to start Legal Claim against your ex-husband to claim your legal rights as a divorced woman like Conciliatory Payment, other sorts of Alimony, Child Support, Housing "depends on the Minor age" and Deferred Dowry, etc...
3. Assuming that you are Non-Muslim.
You can opt out of the Shariah Regulations and choose your own faith / home country laws if you wish. Otherwise, the UAE laws and regulations should apply.
