Q: Hi Sir, I m Edwin, I am working on a construction site. 3 months before, an accident happened on my construction site and regarding this accident issue, my passport was held by Dubai police. But the injured person is good, and the doctor certificate also clearly mentions that the person is good, but till now the police did not release my passport from the police station. Next month is my marriage, so is it possible to replace the passport with another one or not? Please give your suggestion about this.  

Q: Dear Sir, My brother was involved in an incident at his company that claimed two lives (the victims died in a sewage tank). During this process, my brother happened to be a safety officer in that company but the supervisor and the managers assigned those workers who died during the cleaning of the sewage tank without informing the safety department. During the police investigation, my brother's passport was seized by the police and the case was referred to public prosecution. After the final investigation, my brother (safety officer) was not guilty as the public prosecutor decided, but the supervisor was guilty since he gave the order to those workers to carry out the unsafe work without informing the safety department for proper risk assessment. The supervisor was given a 5-month jail term. Concerning my brother, his case ended at the public prosecution office since he was not guilty, but since then, his passport is still held with the court. Please, I need advice. Thanks Taka Farhad

Q: Assalaam Alaikum, My name is Syed Majid, I want to know some details about one case. I have kept my passport as a guarantor for one person in a bounced cheque case, this person has got 2 months jail but he has already left the country for more than 1 year. He was in contact for few days but now he is not in contact. Now, my passport is in Dubai Courts and my visa is getting expired next month. I am stuck here and I want to go back my country. I am an educated person and have given my passport with a good intention to help. Can you please help or suggest me to get my passport back? Thank you

Q: Dear Madam, I have one question. I need your help actually. I have one case in the public prosecution and my case is still under investigation for almost 7 months now. I submitted my passport and my cousin's. Now, my cousin wants his passport back because he wants to go back home for marriage even I have also so much pressure about his passport and I cannot arrange any other replacement. is it possible if I request my prosecutor to release my cousin's passport and keep only my passport until all this is finished? I really appreciate if you help me.

Q: Dear Sir, I need to exchange my wife's passport with mine at the police station. I had been arrested for house rent bounced cheque in Sharjah. By then, my passport had been taken for visa stamping thus her passport was kept in custody for my release. I still have a balance to pay and her visa is due for renewal. I being her sponsor, would kindly need to get her passport for visa renewal and replace it with mine as I still sought to clear the balance. Please advise how can I go about this. Thank you.
