Marriage prenup to secure assets and avoid future possible conflicts
I will be getting married soon, however, I don't want to be naive.
We never know where life leads us, and I would like to know how do I protect my current savings and assets prior to marriage, should an unfortunate situation such as divorce arise in the future.

Since you haven't mentioned your nationality and religion, I will try to advise in a more generic way.
I understand you are worried about your assets and savings which is absolutely right.
Some people may find it unreasonable but one of the options is that you may sign a prenuptial agreement which may cover financial arrangements, asset management, debts and liabilities, business and ownership, custody of children and all that is of concern to you.
This agreement has to be drafted professionally and should cover all areas as in the UAE law there is no such provision.
