Cancellation of visa at immigration by a court order
Please be advised that I have had a labour case in the labour court.
After having finished and judgement issued, I withdrew my case from court and went to the labour department for visa cancellation. They approved my application and cancelled the same and told me to go to immigration.
In immigration, they want my previous employer to be there to cancel the same, but I have no contact with him nor with the company PRO. Meanwhile, a company wants to hire me and issued me an offer letter.
Please advise what to do in this case.
Dear Questioner,
I hope my message finds you well.
I believe there is only a misunderstanding between you and the immigration officer that you have attended to.
You must show the immigration officer the proof that you had a case and that the cancellation of your work and residency permit came as a result of such a case.
Of course, you must present the relevant supporting documents to the Immigration officer at the counter, to take the manager's special approval needed to cancel your visa without the presence of your former employer.
