Dear Questioner,

In the UAE:

- Private sector: max 8 hours/day, 48 hours/week (9 hours possible in some industries).

- Public sector: 7 hours/day.

Both sectors have reduced hours during Ramadan. These are maximums, and individual contracts may vary. Overtime is regulated.

Dear Questioner,

According to the UAE Labor Law, the maximum working hours for employees in the private sector is 48 hours per week or 8 hours per day.

This can be extended to 9 hours per day for certain industries, such as retail and hospitality, but the total number of working hours cannot exceed 48 hours per week.
