Canceling my wife's visa after she left the house without informing me
Dear Sir/Madam,
I need to cancel my wife's visa after she left the house without informing me and filed for divorce, claiming monthly maintenance.
We are Muslim expats married in India.

Dear Questioner,
According to UAE law, a husband has the right to cancel his wife's visa if she has left the house without informing him and has filed for divorce.
However, the cancellation of the visa should be done through the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in the emirate where the visa was issued.
The husband will need to provide proof of the wife's departure from the house, such as a police report or a letter from the wife stating her intention to leave.
He will also need to provide a copy of the divorce papers or a letter from the court stating that the wife has filed for divorce.
Once the visa is canceled, the wife will have a grace period of 30 days to leave the country.
If she fails to do so, she may face legal consequences and may be banned from entering the UAE in the future.
