When an employer terminates an employee in the UAE with a 30-day notice period, the compensation generally includes the regular salary for the notice period, End of Service Gratuity (if eligible), leave salary, airfare allowance, and other benefits as per the labor contract and company policies.

Dear Questioner,

Under UAE Labour Law, an employee who is terminated with 30 days notice period is entitled to receive end-of-service benefits, which include the following:

1. Payment of all outstanding wages and allowances.

2. Payment of an end-of-service gratuity calculated as 21 days of basic salary for each year of service, up to a maximum of three years.

3. Payment of any other benefits due to the employee under the terms of the employment contract.

It is important to note that the employee must have completed a minimum of one year of continuous service in order to be eligible for the end-of-service gratuity.
