When is my salary increase effective? Labor contract vs. approval date

I will be continuing.

Will the labor contract be the basis of the increase (1 month after the labor contract expires)? Not the date of approval by higher management?

It only matters that you will not receive last month's salary plus the agreed-upon increment.

Other than that, there is no issue, as labor entitlements are calculated based on the employee's last received salary.

Additionally, employment contracts are considered continuous and complementary to one another.

Can I apply for the increment in July 2023? Higher management approved it on June 28, 2023.

My labor contract expires on July 12, 2023.

Review the management's decision and see what it states; including its effective date.

The management's decision must have a clear start date for the salary increase, and the HR department should adhere to it.
