Liability to pay the debts for a friend's loan
I introduce my friend to my co-worker, my friend managed a restaurant before and she took a personal loan to my co-worker.
She signed a paper that she has a loan and will pay it on a monthly basis. unfortunately, she got trouble in paying back.
Now, this co-worker was running to me asking to pay my friend loan. Am I liable to pay that?
I did not sign any paper that I am a guarantor.

You have rightly emphasised on the illegality of your co-worker asking you to pay the dues that are to say that since you have not signed any contract/agreement that you guarantee the repayment, you cannot be liable for this loan.
Further, your co-worker has no ground in law to force you to make the payment, hence, please do not be pressurised by her tactics.
Further, granting such a loan on personal basis may not be enforceable in the court of law. So you should warn your co-worker about it if needed.
In summary, you are not liable to pay any money.

Only frustration leads your co-worker, and that's why he/she's trying to use some sneaky ways to let you pay, however, he/she'll never be able to force you to pay a single fils.
