My husband is changing his job and visa. Do our daughters and I have to cancel our visas too?

Hi,

My husband sponsored our 2 daughters' visas under his company. Now he is changing to a new company and he was told that before they cancel his work visa, we need to cancel his sponsorship visas for our kids.

I want to know if there is any other way to retain our daughters' residence visas, and just change the name of the company. Or should it really be all canceled and we apply to a new one for them?

Dear Questioner,

Please note that your husband can make a hold for your daughters' visas in Amer or Tasheel by depositing an amount of AED 5000 refundable after the issuance of your husband's new visa.

Kindly contact us in order to discuss the matter in detail.

The visas of the sponsored children and spouse can be suspended until the visa change is done.

Don't cancel the visa.

First, you need to hold the kids' visas at any of Tasheel's offices. Then after, you can cancel the visa of the sponser because if it is canceled before doing the hold, all the sponsored visas will be canceled automatically.
