How long will it take to get an execution order from Dubai Courts for a DIFC Will/Grant of Probate?
Dear User,
Kindly note that for a DIFC will, in order to make an application for a grant of probate, an application must be submitted to the DIFC Courts Will Service as DIFC Courts have jurisdiction over DIFC wills, not usually Dubai Courts.
Generally, a Grant of Probate may take up to one month but can take longer. However, Dubai Courts and DIFC Courts work together regarding non-Muslim wills and Dubai Courts may execute a judgment if the assets concerned are in Dubai (outside of the DIFC zone).
The time frame for such varies depending on a case-by-case basis. Once the Grant of Probate has been granted, it will be directly enforceable in Dubai without having to go to Dubai Court.
Kind regards,

Hi,
Pursuant to your query, the execution order for a DIFC Will can be done only by the DIFC court, and the timeframe for the Grant of Probate for a DIFC Will is expected to be roughly one (1) month.
But this may vary in practice from one case to another.
