Is there any way to know if I have a civil case against me?

If you have a residency/Emirates ID in any of the Emirates, then you can check online if there is a case against you.

For example, you may download the Dubai Police App and insert your details and you will be notified if there are any active cases against you.

We also provide a service that enables you to check if there is any active case/travel ban against you. You may contact us for further information.
