Dear questioner,

If you have paid the EoSB and the notice period salary, you have the right to put your side providing all evidence of the payment.

How much is the amount?

Thank you for answering my question!

If I provide all the evidence, would the labor department still refer the case to the labor court?

23 Aug 2022, 13:44

That depends on the counselor if she/ he is convinced with the proof you provide.

Hi.

In case the case is referred to the labor court, do I have to hire a lawyer?

If so, how much do I have to pay?

The amount claimed is AED 15000.

That is as per your discretion if you want to hire a lawyer but the amount claimed is too less so, you will end up paying more to the lawyer.

Hello,

Now that he has filed a case against you, you will have to defend your rights before a court of law. You should have supporting documents like clearing his salary and other end-of-service benefits from your end.

If you submit these documents, the court will quash the case filed by your employee.

If you need further assistance, feel free to call me.

Thank you!
