The tenant is refusing the rent increase according to the Dubai rent calculator

Hi,

The tenant is refusing the rent increase according to the Dubai rent calculator and the contract expired.

Is there a way to evict him accordingly or do I have to send him 1-year notice as normal?

Dear questioner,

You need to send him a notice only 3 months prior.

Have you informed him before regarding increasing the rent?

Yes, I have already sent him before 100 days.

Kindly send the tenancy contract along with your notice.

As per your story, the tenant has no right to not pay the same rent.

Hi,

For increasing the rent, you need to give at least 90 days' written notice to the tenant.

If you failed to do so, the agreement will be renewed with the same terms and conditions of the previous tenancy agreement.

For the eviction, you need to give 12 months' notary notice to the tenant.
