The girl's right of support against family violence

I'm a 23-year-old girl. I feel unsafe in my house with my family because they want me to get me married to men they chose for me.

They threaten me! They use violence! They force me! They are shouting to be as they want! They threaten me to prevent me from work!

I'm Iraqi, laws and organizations can't help me, so I want to leave the country as soon as possible. What should I do?

By the way, they took my ID, my passport and my college certification, but I think I can get them.

I don't have a lot of money, but I'm a hard worker and a hard learner. I can learn fast, and I'm quite a smart and strong person.

I need to run away from this hell at first. Sorry if I write something wrong. I'm writing while my hand is trembling

This is not a legal question, it is more about social issues.

According to Iraqi laws, you are an adult, but Iraqi society is more controlled by traditions. Maybe you should seek the support of some NGOs that are specialized in women rights.

Sorry if you couldn't find my answer as helpful as you are expecting.

Hadeel
