The possibility to resign and find another job without leaving the country
Dear sir/madam,
I am a British National who has spent 90 days on a Tourist Visa (30 days extended) in Abu Dhabi. At the end of my 90 days, I was offered a working position and began at a new place of employment. I now have a working visa and Emirates ID.
However, I am finding the workplace challenging and wonder if I decided to terminate my work contract (within employer guidelines and within probation periods) - what does this mean for me and my residency here?
Do I have to leave the country and return again on a Tourist Visa? Do I have a grace period to find alternative work? Are there any financial penalties?
I'd be grateful for some advice!

Hello,
As per your query, as you want to terminate the contract, or resign from the job, within the probation, hence you can provide 14 days of intimation and can resign during the probation period.
However, during the period of resignation, cancel the residency visa and your full and final settlement excluding any benefits or compensation.
Also, you must not tell that you want to check for new jobs or join a new company. You can go outside and come on a tourist visa.
Also, please check whether they have made you sign any non-compete agreement.
