Forcing a new employee to sign a cash advance paper to hire him. What to do?
Hello,
Can you help me with a complaint against my company in MOHRE?
The complaint is I have a cash advance of 7000AED from them. They forced me to sign this paper before they hire me in the company, now they want me to pay the 7000AED.
I didn't receive or borrow money from this company. They are holding also my passport. They don't want to give it back until I pay the 7000AED. I didn't resign my contract with them, they didn't terminate me as well.
Please give me some advice.

You can immediately visit Al Adheed Centre in Oud Mehta or Ontime typing centre to raise an urgent complaint to take your passport.
The smart request is called (أمر على عريضة) in Arabic.
Dubai court will issue an order for the police to take the passport from your boss. For court order, you can follow up with the typing centre from where you typed the above-mentioned request.
Once you get the order, call Dubai Police on 999 and give the same order to the police. The police will get your passport.
Please note that this procedure is only for Dubai-issued visas.
For any other Emirate, you have to visit the respective court to make the request.
