Q: Hello.
I am a manager in the trade license (free zone - DMCC). I am employed, but my employer didn't pay my salary and don't want to cancel my visa and don't want to remove my name from the trade license.
I am not a shareholder. I already won a labour case and struggle with the execution department to enforce the judgement as I am still registered as a manager.
Seems that I won a case against myself and have to pay myself now. No logic in this and no help from Al-Adheed and free zone.
I believe that the solution is in the removal of my name from the trade license, which will force the owner to appoint a new manager and unblock the execution. Please correct me if I am wrong.
I am looking for help with the removal of my name from the trade license.

What are the procedures to get paid after obtaining a favorable labor judgment

Q: I have received a judgment for an amount of more than AED 150k.
Do I have to wait for the company to contact me to pay OR do they pay the court and the court will pay me?
Do I have to wait for 30 days period and then file for execution?
Or should we visit Al Adheed?

Execution of a labor court judgment while the company no longer exists

Q: A labor court judgment was ruled in my favor (I'm an employee) in December 2019, against my ex-employer, for nonpayment of salaries, expense claims, and gratuity.
Unfortunately, they still haven't settled my dues. Worse, the owners left the country and the company no longer exists in its physical form; there is only a legal structure. They do not have any assets either.
Does it make sense to still seek judgment execution?
Also, are there any provisions to pursue the execution order in their present country of residence?

Labor rights the employee can claim in case of terminating the contract by the employer

Q: I was working in a private company registered in the mainland of Dubai for more than 4 years on an unlimited contract. My visa was due for renewal on 14 February 2022.
However, my employer has given me a 30 days' notice (as per the contract) of contract non-renewal on 17 January 2022 stating my contract will finish on 17 February 2022, although the visa expired on 14 February 2022.
I have completed 4 years and 27 days with the company.
Now my question is, will the non-renewal of the unlimited contract be considered as termination by the employer since the company has given the notice to me?
In such a case, what will be the basis for gratuity calculation?
Will it be 21 days for each completed year (since the employer issued the notice) or 14 days?

Canceling my MoU and getting my deposit back due to a low bank valuation and overpriced property 0
Hi,
I wanted to purchase a 2-bedroom apartment in JVC Dubai. I gave a 10% security deposit cheque to the seller. The price mentioned in the MoU is very high compared to other similar apartments in the same building.
The bank’s valuation also came in very low. Since the valuation is much lower, how can I terminate the MoU and get my cheque back? The MoU ends on 1st October 2024.
One of the articles in the MoU states:
In the event that the Buyer fails to make the payments as agreed or fails to complete the transfer on the agreed date due to his own acts or omissions, the Seller has the right to terminate this agreement and retain the deposit, provided that the termination is due to a violation of the agreed terms, unless both parties agree amicably to different dates.
I need help urgently.
