Can an Emirati child sponsor his/her mother upon divorce?

Dear sir/madam,

I just got divorced and I have a 2-year-old child. My son is Emirati and I’m Canadian. How do I transfer my visa from my ex-husband to my child’s sponsorship?

I was told that Emirati children can sponsor their mother’s visa, but I cannot find any details online anywhere about this.

Dear questioner,

Yes, children can sponsor their mother, but you have to go to the Citizenship and Residence Center in Al Jafiliya, next to Bur Dubai Police Station, and you have to provide the required documents to begin the procedures.

If the documents are ready, kindly contact us.
