To answer your questions, please answer the below inquires;

1- Where does your ex-husband live and work?

2- During the mentioned 2 years and a half, did you try to contact him or ask him for financial help as it is his responsibility before the law and Shariah?

Thank you for your answer!

My ex-husband lives and works in Dubai and in Jordan.

During the 2 years and a half, I asked for financial help. He never helped us saying that we should come back to Jordan if we need anything.

I left the house because he asked me to do so and because he threatened to mistreat me if I would come back to Jordan.

How can I know if he divorced me?

1- It is safe to move and live in Dubai, however, you need to forget your fiance now because you haven't had an official marriage so far.

2- Your matter is a subject of UAE law.

3- You need to file a divorce case against your husband and you have many reasons to win the case.
