What are the dues of an expatriate employee after 15 years of service in Bahrain?

Dear Sir,

Does the expatriate employee who worked in the same organization for more than 15 years in Bahrain deserve any funds from GOSI?

Please note that Bahraini and non-Bahraini employees are required to make monthly contributions to GOSI.

Only Bahrainis, however, are entitled to their GOSI contributions after retirement/termination.

As for Non-Bahrain employees, they are entitled to leave indemnity as per the provisions of the Labour Law of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Thanks for your quick response.

Madam, I have another question.

Leave indemnity is given by the company and apart from this, does the employee has to get any fund as leave indemnity from the GOSI?

Because he is paying monthly contributions to GOSI from his salary.

No, following termination or resignation, expatriate employees are not entitled to any payments from GOSI.

Their employer is responsible for paying their entitlements, which include but are not limited to leaving indemnity.

I hope this has answered your question.
