What can the employer do if the employee went on leave and never came back?
I have an employee who went on annual leave and could not return for over 150 days now. Will he be terminated by law and should we hold his gratuity?

Dear Questioner,
The employee who is absent for more than 7 consecutive days or 20 days over a year should be terminated by the employer.
The gratuity and other benefits rather than late salaries shall not be paid.
