Can the employer file an embezzlement case after returning the amount?

Dear,

I made a 50 percent payment for an embezzlement settlement. Can the employer raise a case against me after receiving the full 100 percent payment?

Please note the employer has given me written confirmation of the 50 percent payment which he has received.

Dear Questioner,

If you have already entered into a settlement agreement, you may submit the same as proof of abidance before the court in case your employer files a criminal or civil case against you.

Just want to know if payment is clear, will I get a jail term punishment and fine, or it will be void?

No. You may defend the case by submitting the settlement agreement and proof of payment that you have made already.

Dear Madam,

I have one more query. Sorry for troubling you.

One more colleague of mine is involved in this case. And the company has taken a separate confession of him for AED 204,000.

Now they want to audit the reports and if there's any change in the amount, they will ask me to sign which I will not do because I have taken only AED 44,000.

If the other person also doesn't accept the difference amount, what will the scenario be?
