Q: My bank presented my cheque which bounced obviously. It was against a loan amount, they had taken a cheque from my guarantor for the same amount.
Can they present his cheque? And is it legal to present two cheques for the same amount and for the same loan account?

What are the consequences of unpaid debt on the guarantor?

1
Q: I guaranteed a bank loan for my company although I'm not a shareholder. The owner guaranteed too but he resides in South Africa.
The South African business owes the UAE business AED 850k and the bank loan outstanding is AED 880k. I am owed AED 1000k in unpaid wages/personal loans to the company.
Can the bank come after me for loan settlement (payments are currently up to date) if there is a default even though I'm owed more than they are?

A friend took a bank loan and credit card on my name and disappeared. What can I do?
2
Q: A friend has taken a loan in my name. I was helping out and he brought all the bank people to me. I have not even known the amounts.
He has managed everything, I have only signed and done everything according to his instructions.
Two days ago he promised he will pay off half and had the money in INR and needs time to convert it. And now he has disappeared, his number is unavailable and everything.
The amount is not small two. One was a credit card he gave me himself as an employee of the company and has outstanding there too.

My friend is willing to act as a guarantor to lift my travel ban. Is he eligible?

2
Q: Good morning, everyone!
I have a cheque execution case with a travel ban (although the ban doesn't show in the DC case data). I'm a salaried employee with a monthly income of 10,000.
My best friend, who runs a business in Dubai, is willing to act as a guarantor for my travel. Is he eligible for this role, or should I find someone who is also salaried, like me?
I don't have any blood relatives here. How long does the approval process usually take?

The public prosecution appealed a judgment to increase the fine I already paid. What do I do now? 0
Good afternoon,
Thank you for your time.
The public prosecution appealed my judgment (a fine that I satisfactorily cleared) and requested increasing the fine.
Can you please explain what happens during a criminal case appeal hearing for me as a defendant?
Will I be asked questions?
Is the hearing just for the Public Prosecution to present their appeal to the judge, and I do not need to give a response?
Thank you again for your time.

Is it possible?
How long will it take for his release and court order?

I purchased an apartment, but the previous landlord refuses to vacate. What to do? 0
Hello,
I bought an apartment, but the previous landlord is refusing to vacate it. The contract clearly states that the landlord should hand over the apartment on the day of the transfer.
Out of courtesy, I gave him three days to vacate so he could find a new place to stay, but the time has passed, and he is still refusing to vacate and hand it over.
What should I do in this case?

The new employee will start on June 1, 2025. However, he would like to open a new bank account in the UAE thus asking to provide the salary certificate mentioning his salary in AED and if possible not mentioning the start date.
Legally, can the company provide such a certificate?
