The travel company did not update the visa status. What to do with the fine?

Dear madam,

I got a fine of 3400 AED on a visit/tourism visa because the travel company did not update the visa status in immigration.

Now, they avoid paying the fine and I am not able to change my visa to employment.

Kindly advise on this.

Dear questioner,

Please note that you are personally liable to clear the fines which have been imposed by the authorities for the reason of overstay.

You may file a civil case against the travel company if you think you can prove their negligence.
