Defer the seizure of mortgaged property after reaching a settlement with the bank
I have a mortgage with a bank. I have overdue installments along with overdue service charges and the bank has filed foreclosure.
I have reached a settlement with the bank but the bank needs an MOU from the buyer which will take some time.
What I want is to get a stay or deferment on the action of property seizure. I have got the court notice already for property seizure.
Can we get the deferment of seizing the property?
I am living on the property with my family.

Dear Questioner,
Yes, you can apply for the deferment of seizing the property.
You need to ask the court to give you more time and give your legal explanation and they may accept your application.
I assure you I can help if you trust us to check your documents so that we will know what legal action to take.
I am pleased to help you. Contact me on my number or email.
Thank you

Hello,
Yes, you can get deferment through a court application. However, it is a preliminary view, and need to see all the documents.
