Do I need CR for starting a small online business?
Hello.
Hope you’re all safe and sound.
So 2 of my friends and I are planning to start a small business here in Bahrain.
Nothing big but fancy, quirky and useful items through Instagram.
Do I need to have my own CR?
Since it’s a small business, can’t we do it without it?
Kindly advise.

Yes, it is advised to at least have a virtual CR which is also known as SIJILI.
SIJILI in this case enables you to carry out the business activity without the need to register the entity at the address of an office or place of business.
However, you will need to make sure that the activity falls under the list of activities that are permitted for SIJILI.
