2
Q: It's been 4 years since I exited the UAE & have unpaid debts.
I am aware of the debt and that there's a bounced cheque case against me from the collection emails I still receive.
It had prevented me from obtaining a police certificate from the UAE as I tried online and in-person by authorizing a friend a while ago. I am in the process of immigrating and I was asked to provide a police certificate from the UAE.
It is not criminal to be in debt where I reside but since there's a police case against me due to unpaid debts and I can't get a police certificate from the UAE, at least I need to provide a document/letter "whatever the term is" stating why I am unable to obtain a police certificate from the UAE.
I appreciate you providing me with information on how do I obtain such a document "reasons why I am unable to obtain a police certificate" and who will be able to do such a thing. I need to submit an answer within the next three weeks.
Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you!

Settlement of bank liabilities and ensuring clearance
3
Q: I defaulted on a personal loan due to loss of job in 2016. Then via my friend and transfer of POA filed case for settlement. I paid money to a friend for settlement.
Wanted to understand if I settle my case through court does the bank give a clearance letter?
My friend has submitted me an immigration clearance letter and also PCC.
Should I consider my self clear from all legal liabilities on the basis of immigration clearance and PCC?
Can the bank re-apply for the case against me in future? How can I close my bank account?
Are the immigration ban and travel ban the same?
What should I do to re-assure that everything is legally right?

The complainant dropped the charges. How to know if my criminal case is closed?
1
Q: Dear Sir/Madam,
I have a criminal case in which I gave my bank account to a friend to receive her money. The case was basically a fraud.
However, the police called the complainant and agreed to settle, and he dropped the complaint.
Now, my file is with the public prosecutor. I met him last time, and he told me that he will close my case and start the process to close it.
However, he did not give me any paper or clearance for it. I also don't know when I should get the clearance.
How will I know that my case is already closed?

View allHow to file an online defamation case from the Philippines against someone in Dubai? 0
Hello,
I'm currently looking for legal advice regarding an online defamation case. I am a Filipino citizen currently residing in the Philippines. The person I want to file a complaint against is also a Filipino citizen and is currently based in Dubai.
I have already sought legal consultation, but it cost me a lot for just a simple session. Unfortunately, I don’t think I can afford to proceed with the fees required for sending a warning or demand letter to the person I’m complaining about.
I would really appreciate any help, guidance, or information about possible free or low-cost legal services.
Thank you for your time!
