The applicability of a labor ban when resigning during the probation period

I want to know about the labor ban.

Previously, I was working with a private company with a Sharjah visa for 2 years. Now I have joined a new private company with a Dubai visa. I'm on 6 month probation period which is going to end after a week.

As I don't feel comfortable working in the current company and I have better offers from other companies, I would like to know If I resign will I get a labor ban?

I am still in the probation period. I don't have a graduation certificate attested and my current visa is unlimited.

Thank you!

If your employment contract is under mainland company in Dubai, the provisions in the Federal Law No.8 of 1980, and the Ministerial Decree No.1094 of 2016 amending Ministerial Decree no.766 of 2015, will be applicable to you.

A labor ban will be dependent on whether you are working on a Limited Term Contract that contains an expiry or an Unlimited Term Contact wherein there is no agreed expiration date.

If you have a limited-term contract, you will not be allowed to resign before the expiration of the contract. If it is an unlimited term contract, you may be allowed to resign upon giving prior notice of a minimum of 30 calendar days but not exceeding 90 calendar days.

This is again subjective to the terms contained within the contract.
