هل يحق للمدعى عليه الاستعانة بمحام لتمثيله أمام محكمة المطالبات البسيطة؟

Please note that Articles 53.52 and 53.53 of DIFC Small Court Rules state that:

Natural persons

(1) Unless the SCT Judge orders otherwise, a party should present his own case at a hearing.

(2) A party may be represented at the hearing by a non-lawyer or lawyer only after obtaining permission from the SCT which is to be given where it appears to the SCT on reasonable grounds that it is necessary for the circumstances......

Thus, the representation is usually done by the parties unless permission is obtained by the judge which is usually granted on reasonable grounds. and if found necessary.
