Q: In many advice answers, I see that court fee being mentioned for the labour cases above AED 100,000. However, as per article 5 of labour law, workers are exempted from court fee. In which law is this court fee mentioned?

Q: I have a labour case against my company and I have won the same. While filing the case I have paid court fees, now I have to file execution to collect my dues. So how to add court fees, is it recoverable or not? Please advise. Thanks

Q: Are the labour court fees mandatory? Our lawyer filed the case for us in Fujairah and now the court wants us to pay AED 5000. We asked our lawyer to waive the court fees for the case but after 2 weeks, we followed up and the secretary of the lawyer said to us that the court cannot waive the fees.
