Q: Hello,
I left the UAE 3 months back due to health emergency of my wife and I informed my employer also.
My employer wants me to send the passport by courier so that he can cancel the visa and send the passport back to me.
However, I have requested if I can come back now, get the visa cancelled, collect my luggage and close all bank accounts.
Is coming back an issue? (my visa is still valid till Aug 2019).
What are the points I need to check for a smooth airport entry?

Travel status of an employee after leaving work without cancellation
1
Q: Hi
I have been working with Emirates Airlines for almost 9 years, and due to some emergency reason, I left Dubai going back home.
After that, I sent my resignation by email. My employer said that they need my passport to cancel my residence visa otherwise I will be blacklisted by the UAE immigration.
This case has been almost seven months ago. If I decided to come back to Dubai, how to issue tourist visa with no issue or being refused?
Do I have to pay a penalty?
How to remove the ban or blacklist?
Will they arrest me at the airport?
Warm regards,
Tony

Entering Dubai again after leaving without cancellation of visa
1
Q: Hi there,
I used to work in Dubai and left with the view to go back but moved to London instead. I still had a credit card in Dubai, but I have since paid this off and the case has been closed. I didn't cancel my visa but it has expired.
I would like to visit Dubai for a holiday and I was wondering if I still need to cancel my residency visa before returning? Am I able to do this from the UK? My old employer hasn't taken any action against me.
Thanks in advance
Karen

I left the UAE with a loan and without cancellation. How to check any cases before I come back?

Q: Hello,
I was living in the UAE from 2012 - 2017 working for a leading bank. I came to my country on a holiday in 2017 for the birth of my child.
My boss was toxic and he wanted me back on a return flight as soon as I landed which lead to a verbal dispute and he asked me to stay forever in my country and not to come back.
Since then, I was living in my country and I had a loan and a few cards where the total outstanding of all my credit is not exceeding 170,000 and I have not been able to pay any dues since 2017.
I want to return to the UAE and hence I used a PRO service. According to their advice, they fetched court's records from Dubai Courts and checked if I had any cases registered against me in any Emirate, and it didn't have any.
I further downloaded the Dubai Police app and checked if any cases filed against me there and there weren't any either.
If these 2 are clear, would I face any legal issues while entering Dubai or I will be arrested?
If not, what should I do exactly?

View allThe maximum notice period employers can put in the contract as per the new labor law 0
Our internal contract has a notice period of 3 months from both parties. In the new labor implementation, only one month's notice is required for less than 5 years of service.
Please advise if we can follow our internal contract since the position is very curtailed and the organization will not be able to replace the position within one month.

Annual leave salary calculation as per the new labor law 0
Dear sir/madam,
Annual leave salary calculation as per the new labor law.
Can you please clarify the correct annual leave salary rules?
Some say it is basic + HRA for the month you will take off, others say it is full salary, and somewhere I read it is basic + HRA (annual leave salary) plus the normal salary you get.
Can you please clarify?
Thanks for your valuable time and kind assistance!
