The employer refuses to release the employee at the end of a limited contract

Hello,

I have been working for my employer for 2 years under a limited contract, and the expiration date is after one month.

I’ve told my employer that I am resigning and not renewing the contract. He refused to accept my resignation.

But I am going to work till the expiration date of my contract.

Can I open a case in advance (before my last working day) that he is not cancelling my visa?

Thank you.

Dear questioner,

We recommend that you make the notice of resignation in writing and keep proof of it to yourself.

As for when you can make the case, then that shall be the last day after serving the whole notice period.

You should send a non-renewal notice to your employer, and he has no choice but to accept it.

The employer cannot force you to stay in your job as long as you want to leave.

After that, you can file a complaint in case he refuses to cancel you.
