The consequences of withdrawing an offer by the employer
One of my friends was offered a manager position from an organization with a proper MOL contract.
However, on the day of joining, the employer sent another offer saying that your position is demoted. What are the chances of complaining against this? She lost other chances of employment.

Dear questioner,
Your friend may resign from the job and may claim compensation for arbitrary dismissal since the same may be considered as forced resignation by the court.
Is there any change in the compensation part as well?
However, if the reason for offering the new position is due to any reason beyond their control such as the ministry's rejection in certain designation, etc., this will not be considered under the above category.
