How to release the passport of a guarantor submitted by the guarantor of a debtor?
Hi!
Kindly help me with my brother's situation. My uncle is in Ajman jail right now and he will be deported soon.
But my uncle submitted the passport of my brother to be his guarantor. My brother is planning to go home to the Philippines already soon. How can we get his passport?

It is different if the passport was granted as your uncle's sponsor in both civil and criminal cases.
If it was a criminal matter, your brother might request that his passport be returned now that your uncle has served his sentence.
On the other hand, if it was supplied for the purpose of the civil lawsuit, he won't be allowed to collect his passport until he and your uncle have paid all of their debts to the claimer.
