What happens after somebody gets arrested for having an accident while drunk?

Hello,

I would like to ask for advice for my boyfriend who is currently at the police station but tomorrow he will go to court. My boyfriend got drunk while driving and our car had an accident.

He had three friends in the car when the car had an accident the three of his friends ran away immediately while my boyfriend called the police to help him.

But the situation turned upside down instead of helping him they locked him up for two days at the police station and going to court is open.

I feel sorry for my boyfriend as just because of alcohol, he will lose all his dreams if he is imprisoned. In fact, god knows how kind the boyfriend is even if he drinks, he is not a criminal to be imprisoned.

I'm confused about what to do. I always wonder if he is ok in prison and if he is fed properly or not., and whether he is being made a slave within the prison. I hope you can help me with advice.

Thank you very much.

In such a case, there will be two scenarios:

First, if your boyfriend damaged public properties when he had this accident such as a sidewalk, traffic signals, road signs or other private cars, he will face the judgment of fine and deportation and a case before the court of the misdemeanor, prison or custody are applicable only if there were life loss cases or severe damage to the public.

Second, he damaged his own car and the public property was fine, he will face deportation only and the fine of the offensive action which led to such an accident, but the case will be registered with traffic prosecution and will not be raised before the court of the misdemeanour.
