Obtaining father's permission for marriage after converting to Islam

If I convert to Islam but my father is not a Muslim, then is it still necessary to obtain his permission for marriage?

What if my father is against me marrying a Muslim?

Yes indeed, your father has no control over this matter since you became Muslim.

Kindly refer to article 33, personal affairs law number 28, 2005.

Who would provide tutorship then, in the circumstance that the father is not a Muslim, nor are any other close male relatives?
