How to check whether an existing company has any business loans?

Hello,

I am planning to buy an existing sole establishment in Dubai. I want to know how can I inquire if the existing company has any business loans?

Also once I buy the company, will I be liable for payments to the existing business loans taken by the old owner?

Dear Questioner,

You must do the due diligence of the company before investing in the same. The due diligence report will give you insight into the company's liabilities.

After obtaining details about the company and its liabilities, you can execute an agreement with the previous owner with respect to payment of the existing dues and liabilities of the company.

Please contact me via phone or email for a detailed discussion and assistance.

Thanks!

Dear Questioner,

Pursuant to the query, you should have a specific clause in your agreement that you won't be responsible for the liabilities caused by the previous owner and not bounced by the cheques issued so on.

Further, we need to know your matter in detail to give you proper advice.

Kindly contact us via phone.

Thank You!
