It should be reported immediately for a breach of trust and in order to clear the company's side from an audit perspective.

Even if he has no assets, he will be jailed and a civil claim can be filed as well for the amount and compensation.

Dear Employer,

Please be informed that you are able to file a criminal and civil case against your employee who has taken the money of the company and spent it on his personal needs.

It doesn’t matter he has property in the UAE or not due to the fact that what he did is a criminal offense.

The question is, do you have solid evidence against him that can be written? Or do you have witnesses?

Did you send him an email, legal notice, or even a termination letter from work? Please provide us with any related documents to email so then we can review them and provide you with relevant legal advice and our strategy to follow on this kind of cases based on our history.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Thanks!

You must file a civil and criminal case against your employee. You need to have adequate evidence to prove that the money belonged to the company and he spent it on his personal expenses.
