Q: I lost my job last year because of the pandemic. I took a 3-month visit visa 2 times in hope of getting a job. But I ran out of funds and overstayed, as of the moment my fines are AED 7100 now. By this Decree Ministry of Labour of the UAE has removed the six-month labour ban for those who changed the job before completing two years of service. Labour ban will be still applicable for workers that qualify for skill level 4 and 5 under various circumstances.
