Paying a criminal fine to clear a travel ban while being outside the UAE
I lost my job in the UAE in 2017 and left with debt. I think I already have 3 cases filed against me.
I want to go back to the UAE as I have an employment opportunity.
Can I pay the criminal penalty at court to clear my travel ban while I'm outside the country?
Dear Questioner,
Based on the criminal procedures law of the UAE, you can pay your fine by the machine located in the public prosecution only.
Moreover, you have to get a clearance letter in order to be emphasized that your name is totally and completely clear.
This letter should be issued by the public prosecutor and handed over to you physically or to your lawyer.
Therefore, we recommend you to provide us with a copy of your old and new passport, and a copy of your old visa to our email so then we can draft POA and send it to you to notarize it by the notary public located in your city and attest it by the UAE embassy then send the original copy to us to be able to act on your behalf and resolve your criminal cases before you enter the UAE.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Thanks!
