Dear Sir,

Thank you for your query. In order to be able to obtain a work residence/permit, foreign nationals need to be free of all forms of communicable diseases such as HIV and TB.

The policy remains unchanged for people with active or old TB who are applying for a UAE visa - they will not be allowed entry into the UAE as per the law.
