Filing an absconding case against an employee to recover some dues
There is an absconding case against me by my former company because I have some pending money to pay them after calculating my final settlement.
As per the current situation, I couldn’t pay it. And without their agreement, I can’t close the case as well. I do not like to be banned from the UAE.

Dear questioner,
The employer can register an absconding case against the employee when the latter does not come to work for more than 7 consecutive days, for those cases, when the employer is not aware of the employee's whereabouts or does not have a legitimate reason for his absence (such as being sick, etc.)
If you owe the company any funds, there are other ways for them to recover the money, but not through an absconding complaint.
You may face a labor ban in case you do not comply with the provisions of the UAE Labor Law, notice period, or fulfill any other obligations as per your employment contract.
