Thank you for your question.

In order to obtain a police clearance certificate, you generally do not need to provide your fingerprint. There are 3 types of police clearance certificates:

a) for residents,

b) for visitors, and

c) for those outside the UAE

If you are applying for a police clearance certificate, you will need a scanned copy of your Emirates ID. The fee for the police clearance certificate for residents is AED 220.00.
