Q: I have been supplying goods to a popular retail group in the UAE. They had retail shops in almost all the malls in the UAE.
Recently, they ceased operations and closed down all their shops. I have pending payments to collect from them as well as we have a lot of stock lying at their closed down shops.
How can I pursue them legally to clear all my dues and take the stocks back?
Kindly advise.

How to take a legal action against a company in the UAE for delayed dues
3
Q: I work for a company in Egypt and we had a contracted partnership with a company in the UAE.
They haven't paid us for a very long time. We invoiced them and they keep telling us that they're settling some things and will wire us the delayed payment, but this has been going on for several months now and they are pretty much ignoring us.
We're thinking of taking legal action but would like to know how things are done in the UAE.
Thank you!

Debt recovery case from a company owner who fled the country

Q: We are an LLC company in Dubai, an India resident. We sold goods to a general trading company in Dubai.
He paid 30 % cash and a balance in a post-dated cheque of AED 63000. We presented the cheque two times, and the cheque bounced 2 times.
We have gone to the office many times but the office is closed and the person ran away to India.
As we are also Indian, after a court case in Dubai can we file a case against the person in India?

What laws apply to goods sales, and what about delayed payments?

1
Q: Dear Sir/Madam,
A total of 3 consignments of spices were exported to a Dubai-based company. The payment terms were 50% against AWB and the rest after 15 days of delivery. After the delivery of the 2nd transaction, we got the first part of the payment.
Upon sending the 3rd consignment, the company complained of quality issues in the product shipped in the second consignment (after 14 days of delivery) and released the 50% payment for the third consignment also.
No further discussions were made regarding the second consignment's quality. They assured to release the payment as per payment terms.
As soon as the third consignment reached, they again complained of quality issues about the size of the product. We asked them to return the goods and not sell them further.
They have sold the goods and after 20 days, are demanding a lab test on a very small quantity of goods remaining with them and are not releasing payments.
What laws apply to the sales of goods and their payments?
What recourse do we have?

View allDo you have to bear visa expenses if you leave job before it's stamped? 0
With respect.
I got a job offer in one medical center as I am a registered nurse when I was in India. So I travelled to Dubai on a 3-month visit visa; the company asked me to take a 3-month visit visa.
Immediately after my arrival in Dubai, I called my company & I have submitted all the documents which are necessary for the visa process. the company activated my license before I arrived in Dubai but I found there were no updates regarding visas.
Then I found a new job offer. I informed my present company that I wanted to move from here as I got a new job. Initially, they agreed to that.
When I asked them to cancel my license from their company they said I need to refund for them my visa, which they have started already. but I have not signed any labour contract other than an offer letter.
They are not willing to cancel my license. I am still on a visit visa. My visa is near to expire, and before that, I need to join a new company but my license got hanged with the previous company.
