How to file for mutual divorce while the wife is outside the UAE
Hi,
I want to ask a question about divorce in the UAE.
My wife and I would like to get a mutual consent divorce. She has left the UAE and her residency visa sponsored by me has been canceled. She has been out of the UAE for more than a year now. Can I still file for a divorce in the UAE?
She is willing to come on a visit visa for court hearings if needed. We do not have any children and no contracts are made, just a Hindu marriage.
Can you please advise me if this is possible and the fees, procedures etc.?
Dear Questioner,
Yes, you can get a mutual divorce with your wife. She can enter with a visit visa as you said in order to finalize the whole needed procedures.
Absolutely, we can assist you legally regarding that, please feel free to contact us via email.
Thanks!

Dear Client,
Good day!
Yes, you can file for divorce. We can file it for mutual divorce, both of you can appear in Botim and we can prepare an agreement that both parties can sign.
Both of you, when making a call before the counselor, can confirm that you both want the divorce and that will be sufficient.
This can be issued as a decree and it is enforceable in India.
For further assistance, please feel free to contact us via phone or email.
Thank you!
