Right to deduct visa expenses of employee for resigning during probation
I am S. I joined a company in Jebel Ali on 28.6.2020. I have completed about 6 months of my employment there and I have resigned on 20.12.2020 due to delay in salary every month.
Now my employer is saying to deduct all visa expenses from my salary. Can he deduct as per labour law?

Welcome, Mrs.
According to the labour law, no amount may be deducted from the worker's wage in exchange for special rights except in the following cases:
(A) Recovering advances or sums paid to the worker in excess of his right, provided that the deduction from the wage, in this case, does not exceed ten per cent of the worker's periodic wage.
(B) The premiums that workers are legally required to pay from their wages, such as social security systems and insurances.
(C) The worker's contributions to the provident fund or advances due to the fund.
(D) Installments of any social project or any other benefits or services provided by the employer and agree it has a working department.
(E) Fines inflicted on the worker due to the violations he commits.
(F) Every debt that is fulfilled in implementation of a court ruling, provided that what is deducted in the execution of the judgment does not exceed a quarter of the worker's wage, and if there are multiple debts or multiple creditors, the upper limit is considered half the wage.
