Filing a case by a debt collector is not an easy way in the UK. The bank may get a court order in the UAE and apply for executing it in the UK court for execution.

But that is a lengthy process and expensive also, therefore, banks always look into the amount of debt.

The bank can't approach or contact your wife for your debt. Your wife is not liable for anything on your behalf.
